   You can get this information from GTE personnel office. Nobody on YA will be able to give you this info.

   I think you are making reference to 1986. I believe Fidelity Investments handled GTE’s 401k doing that time? The pension, I do not know. Try 8008355099. If nothing else they maybe able to tell u where to start. But they will not give u any information if the money is there or not, but if it is there they will tell the owner (your husband)

   I don’t think 401(k) plans existed then. You’d have to contact GTE H.R. concerning pension plans.

   did 401k plans even exist back then?
   call the HR/benefits dept
